Three more for les femmes.

I apologise for the recent lack of updates, but I have been a busy lass lately and the boy is so irresistibly charming I find I am unable to tear myself away from him.  However,  I have managed to get a bit of designing time in while he naps.  Here are a few ladies garments:

The first dress is a loose-fitting cotton smock with three-quarter length sleeves and features cut-out pockets along the seam.  The second style is a denim dress with a gathered, elasticised neckline, bound sleeves and contrasting cut-out pockets.  And lastly we have a hooded tunic with cut-out pockets and a scooped hem that is longer at the back.  This one is made of black wool with a dark floral fabric in the pocket and hood lining (I know it is nearly summer down here in NZ, but it is almost winter in other parts of the world!)  I will be updating the blog when I have added more items to the shop.  Thanks for reading and enjoy your weekend!

 

 

 

 

 

I LOVE WOOL

Wool is gorgeous.  I have gained a new appreciation for it since moving to a country where it's not only produced, but also highly available for a reasonable price.   I bought a brilliant piece of black boiled wool today and made up a hoodie for myself and actually managed to keep it instead of selling it like I normally do.  I love it so much I want to fall asleep in it and not take it off for about a month, but I know that would be gross, so it is hanging safely in my wardrobe until tomorrow when I can throw it back on again.  I did happen to get enough fabric to make up another one, so if any of you ladies feel the need to be wrapped in wooly goodness just head to my SHOP and see if it is still available ;) 

How I love new additions!

I made up this ladies hoodie the other day for the purpose of wearing it out that morning, but once I was done I thought it was too perfect to justify keeping for myself.  How sad is that to feel I'm only good enough for seconds?  I deserve a perfect piece too (I know), but for the moment I think someone else deserves this gorgeous garment made from 100 % pure NZ Merino.  Ohhh it was scrumptious to put on if only for a moment or so.  Check out my Etsy Shop for some new pieces, ahhhh yes there are some linen & wool tunics if you are between the age of 1 and 2 years and I will be making bigger sizes at some point.  (Bigger sizes being 2-3 and 3-4 years... sorry no big people sizes yet but I do intend on making myself one soon!)

Finally a Women's Hoodie!!!

I have been getting a ton of requests for the ladies hoodie... so here it is folks.  I will be making some up and yes they will have a screen print on them.  The hood is large and gorgeous whether it is on or off and forms a lovely scarf when down around the neck.  It also has a little point to it because I know how much you all wanted one like the kiddies version!  By all means let me know what you think and let me know if you want one!  The cotton/lycra ones are $135.00 and I am in the middle of sourcing more merino and I will let you know when that comes available.
