I sat my national exam last Monday and decided to celebrate by getting myself an iPhone. I have never had one before so this was extremely exciting for me. It is awesome. I am completely impressed with it and I have no idea how to use it. Ha! I have turned into a technological neanderthal. I didn't think it would ever happen, but it has. I have the basics down, but I haven't yet the skills to put it to its full use. We really need to get wireless internet so that I can do a bit more with it.
I have also decided to celebrate my finishing by acquiring a really nasty chest cold and sinus infection. What would the end of a degree be without getting ridiculously sick? So needless to say I haven't been out celebrating amongst friends and colleagues. That will have to wait until later.
My wool collection has gone down a wee bit though. I crocheted up this gorgeous chunky wrap cowl and have also been working on other little bits here and there. Teo got a new pair of leggings and a set of fairy wings. He is pretty chuffed with them. I have also dyed some yarn and some merino fibre. I haven't really had the energy to do much else, aside from watch Pride & Prejudice on more than one occasion. I am also reading the book. Definitely an all time favourite of mine.
So here is where I will leave you until I have the energy to do a bit more. I took some photos with my iPhone. The different camera apps are my favourite thing about the phone. I'm thoroughly impressed with the wee camera's capabilities. Rather impressive. Here is a photo of the cowl and of Teo and his fairy wings.
Very cool wings! Congrats on finishing your degree. Huge mile stone met!
