It's Saturday morning and I am about to head into my office/study area/sewing area/bedroom. How's that for a multi-purpose room? I've got a bit of revision to do today and tomorrow before I sit my national exam on Monday morning. It's not quite tangible yet, as I still have a couple of births to attend. I'm really looking forward to those last couple of births. I totally feel like a midwife.
In another week or two I am going to have so much free time that I won't know what to do with myself. I have such a huge list of projects and things to do. I'll be helping a friend to make a bridesmaid gown, I'll be photographing someone's wedding a bit later and I have a few orders to make up. Those are my only obligations over summer... which leaves heaps of time for my enormous list of creations and activities. I get a big break before heading into practice, which is well deserved if I do say so myself, and much needed.
So on that happy note, I will be back next week once the chaos is over. Here is the beginning of my fun list:
- BBQ celebration for my classmates and myself
- Another BBQ to catch up with everyone who I have ignored over the past three years
- Quilt project 1
- Quilt project 2
- Quilt project 3
- Quilt project 4
- Fibre dyeing
- Fibre spinning (I have SOOOO much to do)
- Knitting projects galore
- Sewing projects galore
- Planning Teo's birthday party and wonder woman outfit
- Gardening to my heart's (and garden's) content
- Screenprinting and woodblock printing
- Learning to embroider
That's enough to keep me busy for a wee while I think... I will be sure to get familiar with my camera again so I can post some inspiration on here. I'm off to do some last minute revision now! Bring on states exam WHOOP WHOOP! By the way here are a few items I added to my SHOP the other day.
